Patty Davis (Knorr)

The best thing I took away from LHS was a "Certificate of Proficiency in Accounting". So, in order to earn this, I spent most of my high school years in the business section of the school. After high school I went to college in Iowa for 1 ½ years. In December 1979, my brother, Steve Knorr (class of 1974) was killed in Alaska and I returned home to be with my parents and put that certificate to use. It was what got me into the door of Rainier Bank. After 13 years, I was one of the last people to leave Rainier Bank as it transitioned over to SeaFirst/Bank of America. Upon leaving Rainier Bank, I stayed in the Accounting field and I am now a Controller for a small company based in Bothell.

I married Art Davis in 1985 and we were blessed with 2 children (Julianne — 19 and Micah — 18) early on in our marriage. At 41, God decided to show Art and myself that He really does have a sense of humor and blessed us with a baby boy (Theodore — 6). Wow what a surprise and at the same time a gift from God.

We have been living in the same house in Bothell for 20 years now and it is very full with 2 grown children, 1 growing boy, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a menagerie of small animals. I wouldn't trade it for anything. A couple years ago, we started a remodel project and are still working on it. Maybe someday I'll have closet doors on my hall closets. lhs78

I keep very busy between working full time, being a full time mom and being involved in our church and taking up an occasional hobby such as quilt making and knitting.

Take care and if I come to the reunion on September 12, I'll see you all then.
